The collection, called “Le Bonheur,” is the embodiment of a Mediterranean summer.

Presented in Corsica, the show felt like a continuation of the Jacquemus universe at its most natural: sun, wind, sea air and simple gestures turned into fashion. The setting gave the collection its mood before a single look even came out, grounding the whole presentation in the designer’s long-running fascination with the romance of the south of France.

What made Le Bonheur feel so Jacquemus was the balance between ease and precision. Soft volumes, airy fabrics, painterly color and technically inventive surfaces gave the collection a sense of freedom without losing its structure.

The name itself says a lot. “Le Bonheur” means happiness, and the collection reads as a reminder that summer dressing can still feel emotional, tactile and connected to place. It is fashion that doesn’t try too hard to impress; it simply lets the atmosphere do the work.
