Milan, bookmarked. The shows, details, objects and ideas that stayed with us after SS27. Consider this our camera roll from the week.

Prada set the tone with a collection centred entirely on the skirt, offering 63 versions across mini, midi, pencil, pleated and sculptural shapes. The idea quickly travelled across the city, appearing in different forms at Jil Sander, Marni, Moschino and Alberta Ferretti.

At Fendi, Maria Grazia Chiuri explored the body through lingerie-inspired dressing, delicate lace, embroidery and the tension between masculine and feminine styling. Ferragamo brought a more fluid mood with luminous silk, soft tailoring and a focus on the belt as the defining detail of each look.

Elsewhere, Gucci leaned into ’80s-inspired prep, Diesel revisited its signature distressed denim and hybrid construction, while Moschino’s debut placed regular people and models in the same moving street scene. The result was fashion that felt theatrical but grounded in real life.

The week’s most memorable details included oversized sunglasses, exposed lingerie, fringe, punchy jewellery, botanical prints, built-in bags and playful colour combinations. Milan gave us plenty to save — and even more to think about.
