A closer look at the Chanel bags we’ll be thinking about all season.

For Fall/Winter 2026, Chanel’s handbags revisit familiar house codes with new proportions, textures and finishes. Classic flap bags appear alongside oversized shapes, soft suede styles, sculptural silhouettes and seasonal versions of the house’s most recognisable designs.

One of the standout ideas is the layered flap bag, which combines references to the 2.55 Reissue and the Classic Flap through a double-flap construction and two contrasting closures. Elsewhere, maxi styles arrive in suede and croc-embossed calfskin, while smaller bags bring colour through shades such as emerald green, fuchsia and deep red.

The collection also makes a strong case for texture. Quilting is flatter and more graphic, suede feels especially important for the season, and metallic, tweed and embellished finishes give the bags a distinctly autumnal sense of drama.
